Is Win7-style taskbar popup possible on Win10?

I've read a lot ... and made attempts ... to get the same nice taskbar preview on Win10 that I've had for years on Win7.

These two captures show my progress, thus far (left) and what I'd like to have (right).

    I such a presentation possible?

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Some alternative Start Menus may have options for that...

Thanks for those suggestions. I'll take a look (... although I was hoping it was only some built-in feature/setting). But I admit that, to me, Win7 had a far better approach to convenient operation and productive use, so I'll give these real consideration.

Hi, this is what I get after using 7+taskbar tweaker.. see below (I think it fades after a while which is why in the later screenshot it's not as clear)

FWIW, without that I see this for Free Commander:

which becomes this, courtesy this option in 7+taskbar tweaker:

    - and Winaero's tweaker offers this:

Would a W7 "look a alike" deaktop like this work for you?

Picture is worth a 100 words.

I'm new to W10 and am not finished yet.
So far it does work, needs tweaking.

For taskbar previews like windows 7 download 7+taskbar tweaker, open and locate taskbar preview and select list
The results will be immediately. Hope this solve the problem

    Hi, isaacthethemer,

The image I posted above is of what I did to a new Asus gaming laptop with W 10 from: HIDevolution.com - Specializing in customized gaming laptops, mobile workstations, desktops, and mobile devices

    It's not W7.
