    Can't boot into Win10

I had a working win10 pro install and wanted to create a fresh install on another SSD and slowly build it back up to my current install. After creating a Win10 USB installer I booted it up and created my fresh install on the other SSD sucessfully. When I try to boot back into my original install the system just hands with a dash on the screen. I've tried to repair the install with the Win10 USB installer without success. My fresh install is version 1909. I hope someone can help.

Hi, could you please state where your disks were when you did this?
E.g. when you installed Win 10 on your 2nd SSD, dis you remove the first one- or were both in your PC?

And when you try to boot from your original disk, again, are both or just one in your PC?

If now you have ONLY the second SSD in your PC, does that still boot?

Is the dash top left of the screen and blinking? (No boot disk recognised).

This is perhaps similar to this but how this has happened isn't clear.
    Cloned drive will not boot

Note the reference to Kyhi's boot disk. An older version- iso- is here:
    Toolkit Item: Kyhi’s Rescue Disk – Win10.Guru
Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk

You should download the iso and create a bootable disk from it. If unsure how, suitable instructions can be found in the Clean install Windows 10 tutorial

Both drives are in my computer. The new SSD was cleaned from diskpart in the command prompt and then initiallized with the name Win10 to make it easy to identify.

When I try to boot to the original both disks are in the computer

If I disconnect the power cable to the new SSD with the clean OS and try to boot from the old OS I get the dash in the upper left of the screen

I have multiple HDD in my computer and it looks like several are listed as primary partitions. Will try the windows 10 recovery tools

I had an issue with 2 HDDs in a computer [250GB and 640GB] and Win10 read the entry in the BIOS of RAID/AHCI and chose RAID, found that out when I tried to remove the larger drive and Win10 wouldn't boot. I ended up just unplugging the larger drives' data cable and reinstalling Windows then added the larger drive back in later for simple storage [after Windows was working satisfactorily], it worked.
