I fixed the problem. Looking at a Youtube video, all i had to do is re-enable event log and event collector. geez Looks like with windows 10, you can't uncheck certain stuff. Peace and thanks for all the help.

Glad you fixed it. Just a thought. You haven't got an optimiser program with an Antivirus have you. I have also seen them switch things off

Nah, i don't use them. I'm using a workstation gaming system, performance is perfectly fine. Every time i install a OS, i always fiddle with unchecking programs that doesn't seem useful or needed. Didn't know using windows 10 i had to keep most of the services running, that's all.

Always make sure you have an easy way to get back to a previous good state. That's especially true if you fiddle with things.

First, routinely use (and perhaps frequently in your case) disk imaging. E.g. Macrium Reflect (free-paid) - plus external storage for image files. That way you can often restore to a previous good state without requiring other people's time and help.

Second, if considering making registry changes, export the original key first- create a backup.

Third, keep a record of your changes so you have a chance of correlating them with any adverse effects.

    Anyway, glad it's fixed.

Try running --sfc /scannow-- at least twice, followed by--dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth--and see if that helps.
Also check your Reliability History to see if there are any entries.
