Chuck P. here Started in Tech june 1977 with Digital Equipment Corportation, DEC. Was a tech up to support engineer, primarily on VAX architecture, little unix, VMS, networking. After 22 years there went to Microsoft with my then highly valued MCSE and went to work supporting Premier Support customers as a Technical Account Manager, stayed 16 years and retired as a Senior TAM with the company. Building, repairing electronics is one of my hobbies. (PC's, phones, Canon digital cameras, Logitech Harmony One remotes (a favorite of old school remote users). Try to keep my hand in on Windows 10 and generally do the pre-release versions. I can break a registry as well as anyone I generally build all the home computers or pick up a broken notebook here and there for fun and profit. Getting to the point in repair that I'm learning about soldering SMD components and such.
