Welcome to Ten Forums. Nice rig, should give you many years of service.

Do you have a backup plan? If not, that should be the first thing you do. Buy an external 1 or 2 TB external USB 3.0 hard drive and use Macrium Reflect Free (or Premium, I have Premium) and start doing regular, scheduled backups. This is especially important with the regularity with which Microsoft is trashing some peoples computers during the semi-annual Consumer Updates.

    Hello Ztrucker,
Itīs difficult not to suspect itīs intentional, isnīt it?
I mean the trashing, not the back-ups...
    Cheers,

Just bought a new desktop, noted in my specs. I came from Windows 8.1, and Vista before that. These forums have been very helpful over the years, and I see that TenForums will be just as helpful. Thanks to all who posts hints and comments. So far W10 is performing very well for me. 'May the odds be ever in our favor'....

Hey, I'm new to the forum.

I've signed up because for several days I've tried to fix the errors I get when I immediately go to YouTube. Every time I go there, my CD drive beeps and causes my computer to crash. I tried to check if my fan, hard disk and CPU were overheated and they weren't and I don't think my power supply or GPU (not sure on the last part though). Everything else is functional but it's just when I go to YouTube that I have issues. Also I have changed my power plans, updated the drivers and even uninstall my CD drive (which got reinstalled automatically when I restarted anyway) and I still get these problems.

It'll be great if you can help!
