Hi, I'm Nate.

I recently bought a new Dell "Gaming" Desktop running Windows 10, and it's been nothing but trouble from the very first time I fired it up.

Not sure where to start looking on this forum for possible fixes. I'm really a bit overwhelmed and wish I had never bothered with a new computer.

So far my two main issues are:

The computer randomly freezing up during video playback on web sites in multiple browsers, multiple websites, and VLC media player. That requires a hard restart/holding the power button to kill the power.

The second issue is the computer going into some sort of hibernation and not waking up from it, even though I have hibernate disabled. I even went as far as disabling hibernate through a command prompt run as an Admin. But still, ever so often the computer screen goes black, the power to the keyboard is cut, and NOTHING will wake the computer, requiring yet another hard restart.

I'm honestly at my wit's end with Windows 10 and I've only had the computer about 10 days now. If anyone has links to tutorials here at 10 Forums, please message me. I've been going through pages and pages of tutorials, and coming up with nothing that works.

Off to search some more... wish me luck.

Hello everyone, I'm 3Colors from Perú :) I come from Seven Forums where I solved some of my problems with the help of the members from there. Good people.
But now that I'm using Windows 10 I thought it would be easier but I'm wrong. I am here because if I have a doubt or problem I know that here I will find help to solve it.
