I see I am far out-educated here. The last work I performed was for ThirdAge.com and the site was as the name implies. For Third Ager people. I helped teach seniors how to use their computer for the simpler things like Anti Virus etc. Our pay was $15 a month as they didn't pay the help. Worked fine for me. I served in Military as nurse (in training). Nearly finished when I had to go home and help the family. Dad had a massive coronary but survived. I've had a great life so far, but my brain is slipping a bit. 4 strokes and am 69. Little failings need forgiveness.

What I wanted to say initially was that I researched many sites for turning off b/g apps. You are the only one who had an easy solution. THANKS!

Welcome to Windows Ten Forums, Sug. Good to see you here.

I'm wondering what b/g apps are?

Sitting in the military for the next 2 years, doing my college and lazing around in general. I enjoy beefing up my Desktop and playing video games.

I tend to get obsessed with finding fixes when even the smallest hiccup interrupts my game play and cannot stand low frame-rates or lag.

I am rather brutal to my computers in this regard as I tend to follow almost any advice when going down the path of repairs. Although this does lead to many unnecessary problems in the troubleshooting process I do enjoy the information learned by each failure.

I hope I can rely on this forum to strengthen my knowledge base and help in resolving future issues.
