Hello evrybody, i was registered on the eight forum already, now i'm troubling with win10 upgrade; i will report all my problems and fixes in the forum hoping to help others.
Bye
Thank youfor being here. I found your site quite by accident, but it was a very serendipitousaccident. My usual site for trouble shooting, and general information is MyDigital Life, but there I have to wade through topics that go all the way backto Windows XP. Which is OK, as I still have some clients that run their businesson the old horse. Lord I’ve tried to upgrade them, but they have customsoftware that will only run on XP.
At anyrate, they mainly call me for hardware problems. I’ll let some smooth talking salesrep to upgrade their software. But back to my finding your site. Let me tellyou it’s like a breath of fresh air for me. I got involved in the WindowsInsiders Program almost the first week it came out. What a treat it was for me.
At the timeI was still using Windows 7 Ultimate on my desktop, but I had XP, and 8.1 invirtual machines on my desktop. I created another virtual machine for Windows10, and then went about trying to break it (as that’s the whole idea of a betatest). Try as I might, I had little to report back to Microsoft. There was afew grumblings from me, as was not able to test Cortina, as it was neverreleased to Canada, and I was unable to install my password manager on Edge. Sothat got little attention from me.
The day theWindows 10 upgrade was released to the world, I backed up my drives, andconverted the upgrade to an ISO, burned it to a DVD, and did a clean install. It worked like a charm then, and I’m still using it today. Although we all knowit has had many an upgrade since its release. I’m still happy with it. Mylaptops though have to stay the way they are for now, as I deal with clientsrunning everything from XP up.
At anyrate, I am very happy to have found your site. You will be one more tool in my arsenalof Tech. Again, thank you for being here, with a fresh prospective on Windows10.
Regards,
TMV
