    It took me a bit of time to get around to my first post. The knowledge here can be pretty intimidating to a newcomer but as you can see everyone is very friendly and welcoming. You’ll rarely if ever get put down for asking a question.

    First I would like to say thank you for the support I have bean able to pull from this forum!

    My latest problem was fixed using this link: Reinstall and Re-register Cortana in Windows 10

    A little bit about me, now retired I have worked as an "On-Site" technician for a computer manufacturer that made "credit card billing systems" as well as "currency sorting & verification".

    First use of PC's involved Dos 3.0 now into Windows 10 (which I don't like). Computers were better when they were considered "dumb terminals" before it took a Phd. to interface with them.

    Remember a quote from Bill Gates, "640K is more memory than anyone will ever need on a computer," ​well look where we are today!
