    Mostly retired but still keenly interested in all things technical.

    I've worked in a number of industrial automation/control industries since the late 70's including the occasional stays on oil rigs and remote mining sites but mostly office based running projects.

    Started with wire wrapping my own Z80 based design, writing the BIOS and tacking CP/M onto it. Getting on to 40 yrs of Microsoft and am now focussed on where the 'cloud' heading and how the various players are fairing. ('Living in interesting times' to hack a worn phrase!)
