    How to disable rotation lock?


    I'm trying to enable rotation lock but the option is greyed out. Following solutions I tried were to restart as well as temporarily put the computer in portrait.

    Hello,

    Usually you will need to rotate the display for the setting to no longer be grayed out like in option 3 below.

    If all else fails, you can use option 4 below to change it.

    I found out that the solution is to rotate the laptop keyboard all the way back and then rotation lock will no longer be grayed out.
