I am having the same problem on E5 576G... Am I right to think it's the new windows update? Or just a coincidence both of us have the same problem?
I'm not sure whether it's the windows update. This happened before, but that time I got a power outage for like a split second then battery started to acting weird. That was fixed after doing a battery reset. This time, none worked.
I'm probably thingking toward Acer quality instead tbh

    battery_report.html - Google Drive

Here is my battery report if anyone knows what to do with it.. The battery changed is when I reinstalled the driver...

I am just sad this happened out of nowhere tbh 🙁... I am hoping it's windows and probably gonna do a clean install of 1903 before deciding to replace the battery.

What to do with it is download the .html file, then open it in a web browser. You report says the full charge capacity is 67% of the design capacity.

    DESIGN CAPACITY 62,160 mWh
    FULL CHARGE CAPACITY 41,359 mWh

Normal rule of thumb is that you should start thinking about replacing a battery when its capacity drops to 80%, though at 67% it should continue to be satisfactory (but with shorter life between charges). Some say that 25% is the minimum capacity that's acceptable.

If your laptop battery only holds about 50% try conditioning or recalibrating the battery (below). If it's 25% or less, consider buying a new one.

I tried that without success. The battery is currently unplugged right now, but I'll give it a try again later.
After completing the reset, you need to leave the laptop to rest for a while(15-20 Mins), reconnect the AC adapter and fully charge the battery before start using again.
