Disable Windows 10 System tray icon permanently !?

Hello everyone, I'm new here and I'll try to respect anything.

I need your help guys, I've been looking for hours and couldn't find the way I did it months ago. I'm pretty sure I used one of your tutorials to help me. I did it for some softwares. (Windows 10)

I don't want to simply hide it, or move it to the little drawer. I want it to be totally gone forever. I want to do this right now for Wallpaper Engine, but I also want to be able to hide/remove any system tray icon.

I've been looking everywhere in the registry editor but I'm not an expert. I did this once, it's possible. Please someone tell me how do I do this...

Thanks a lot in advance for your time and your possible answer, I can give you any details you will need for that, feel free to ask.

Hi, this may help for default Windows icons - in Settings:

Are you also referring to system tray icons from other installed programs?

Or do you mean you want to hide the whole system tray/Notification area?

Hi! First, thanks for that quick answer!

But sadly, that doesn't solve my problem. I said "I don't want to simply hide it, or move it to the little drawer."
Which means I don't want to move it to that little window.

Or simply manage the system icons...

Everywhere on the Internet I could only find such simple stuff... I want to delete or hide softwares tray icons. I know it is possible, I already did it. Using the "Regedit" I could find the precise path to the tray icon.

For example, keep running µTorrent or WallpaperEngine but, not having a tray icon.

Here I have Rainmeter and Unified Remote but deleted the icons a while ago, and can't remember how I did this...

I didn't find a solution for hiding the Notification Area from the Taskbar [renamed from System Tray some time ago] but maybe some of the Search pages on it will have something.
Winaero - Free small and useful software for Windows has some customization information, perhaps Tablet Mode would work.

Thanks a lot man! But that doesn't help. I don't want to remove the whole area, just the tray icons I wish to, for some programs only.

And I'm pretty sure the only way is using Regedit.

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to completely remove the taskbar in Windows 10. Is it possible you removed the taskbar in an earlier version of Windows?

Here's a link to Microsoft Support on the taskbar:

There is the small Up arrow on the left end of the Notification Area that when clicked will show more icons. Right-clicking the Taskbar then clicking Taskbar Settings will bring up a list where some of those icons can be turned off or on, if off remain hidden and if on will populate the bar to the left of the clock and calendar, scroll down to the Notification Area section. The far right end of the Taskbar can hold the Peek icon/bar, can be disabled.

Hey, I am sorry, but did you read what I previously wrote?

The first answer given by Dalchina was exactly what you are trying to explain to me again. In my first message I say that I don't want to simply hide it or move it to the little drawer. Which I explain even more in my second message, illustrated with screenshots. I also said many times that I've looked on the web and couldn't find anything but THOSE answers...

You'll probably have find the correct option within the programs themselves...
