Is this the telemetry data?
Is the data view-able inside Diagnostic Data Viewer telemetry data that gets sent to Microsoft? Currently on 1909.

Fear of the unknown? And neither did I find anything against my confidentially.
It's an inbred behavior that goes as far back as the Neanderthals, maybe farther. It's human nature and in today's world I liken it to the "social media effect" where anyone can post on their favorite flavor of social media and others believe it without first taking it with a "grain of salt" also known as "the herd effect" where; When one person sees a certain behavior s/he can associate with they jump on the bandwagon and they feel better about her/his decision because they have like minded individuals around them. This effect can grow exponentially in a short time and in most cases be reversed when challenged properly.
It also does not help that Microsoft keeps everything they do a secret and only offers dribbles of information about what they are doing with their proprietary, intellectual property of which they have every right to do but some people don't, won't or can't understand proprietary. It upsets me to but what are you to do? I just grin and bare it.
I could go on but I think you get the picture. I'll leave you with one good example of how this works by leaving cover art that Norman Rockwell did for the Saturday Evening Post back in 1948 It's said he did it in reaction to a rumor that was spread about him. Follow the lady in the upper left as a rumor she spreads finally gets back to her, It looks like the rumor backfired on her and I always thought her reaction was; Well, I never said that!

The more the public demands connectivity, the more privacy is going to be compromised.
Can't argue with that. Developers are in such a rush to "get it out there" privacy suffers and is an afterthought. There is probably a 'law' somewhere that states; "As demand for connectivity grows sloppiness in implementation also grows, exponentially.
I'm not sure if it is the public as much as it is businesses, the 'public' has no idea what's out there or coming down the pike until the corporations offer it to them, then it's GEE oh WOW, I just gotta have that! And then 'public' shells out another $1,000 bongo bucks for a computer disguised as a phone ? ! ? We complain about Microsoft, hell, Microsoft has nothin' on these communication companies, they have the public right where they want them, in their pockets.
