    PerfProc windows event viewer errors

I noticed a game benchmark I was running froze a few times today, for a few seconds, and found that this error occurred in the event viewer each time it froze. I have just overclocked my CPU today so I was worried that it could be a sign of instability. However I found that this error has been occurring for months, long before the overclock was applied. Can anyone tell me what this is?

This error is thrown by Intel Extreme Tuning 6.5.2.40 due to a bug.
