Win 10, New window opens behind current window instead of on top

    Win 10, New window opens behind current window instead of on top


    When I use explorer to open a new window, the new window opens behind the explorer window instead of on top. I find this frustrating and have tried many "solutions" found online for remedying this but nothing has helped.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Can you check and see if problem resolves within Safe Mode.

    After further checking in safe mode and normal mode, this seems to be a problem with a program that I use frequently. Everything else seems to work normally.

    I an marking this as resolved and will open a problem report on the application.
