    MSVCP140.dll not designed for windows.

So I have looked around, and found the solution lies in reinstalling Visual C++ 2015 redistributables. So I did that. Repeatedly. It does not fix the error. I uninstalled all VC++'s to no avail. I reinstalled the program asking for it (Origin). Repeatedly. Also, it complains "igoproxy64.dll" is bad as well. I suspect they are related. I know igoproxy64 is Origin-related. Any thoughts, anyone?

I have Win10x64, build 1909. This problem is relatively recent, but I cant pin it down to a single incident or circumstance that could have caused it. It has been happening since 1903. I did try "Run As Admin" on the vc 2015 installer. The installer immediately comes back as successful.

Start an Elevated Command Prompt and type this exactly
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and press Enter

    Once that completes, then type
    SFC /scannow and press enter

Dism Finished, then sfc did its thing. I have a new error now: "VCRUNTIME140.dll is either not designed to run on Windows...". At some point, Steam installed several redistributables while I was waiting.
