    Questions about Focus Assist

Which Focus Assist's settings should I use since I don't want to have notifications and may I still have them if I don't touch Focus Assist (the same with leaving it with the "priority only" setting checked and not messing with the "automatic rules" settings) after disabling notifications on the "get notifications from apps and other senders" setting as well as the 5 below settings and the "get notification from these senders" setting below? And may I still have notifications if I don't touch Focus Assist (again, the same with leaving it with the "priority only" setting checked and not messing with the "automatic rules" settings) and disable the "get notifications from apps and other senders" setting as well as the 5 below settings and the "get notification from these senders" setting?

    Hello,

If you turn off Get notifications from apps and other senders, it will disable notifications from everything except Windows system notifications.

Turning on Focus Assist will turn off all notifications until you turn off Focus Assist.

Turn On or Off Focus Assist in Windows 10

Customize Focus Assist Priority List in Windows 10

Change Focus Assist Automatic Rules in Windows 10

Thank you. Could you give me examples of Windows system notifications and can all of them be disabled? So, if I turn off the "get notifications from apps and other senders" setting I don't even have to disable other notifications' settings which remain turned on?

What if I turn off notifications and Focus Assist, may I still have any notifications?

A notification from Windows Update would be an example of a system notification.

If you turn off notifications and turn on Focus Assist with the settings you want for it, it should stop all notifications.

And what if I turn off notifications, choose Focus Assist' "alarms only" setting and disable the "during these times", "when I'm duplicating my display", "when I' playing a game" and "when I'm at home" settings"?

You wouldn't get any notifications within the time and settings set for Focus Assist.

Sorry, but could you tell me the combination of Notifications' settings and Focus Assist's settings which would give less notifications? This is so confusing...

    No problem.

The focus assist settings below should give you the least amount of notifications.

What about the "Show me a summary of what I messed while focus assist was on" setting and the settings on the "Notifications & actions" tab? I don't want to have any notifications (except some that may be inevitable, I guess).

You can uncheck it if you like.
