I hate the auto expanding sidebar in 1909

In 1909 when I hover the mouse over the side-bar in the Start Menu, it expands to full size instead of just showing a tooltip like in 1903. I Hate this. Is there a setting somewhere to change it back to the way it was in 1903?

Wish there was, send feedback in about it.

I didn't think it would bother me, but it's actually incredibly annoying.

Damn right! If you're not quick enough, you have to click on the power tab again!

It's annoying, but it flys back out of the way if you move the mouse cursor off it, while staying on Start.

    ...and it's testing our reflexes...
Obviously a bug, making first icon I hate the auto expanding sidebar in 1909-start.jpg almost useless.

Probably have to modify some bullsh*t User Experience Host or Flyout Control Host manifest buried deep in the OS!

    StartMenu Experience Host:

Exactly what I'm beginning to hate about W10!

So many simple features inaccessibly buried in the backstreet bowels of Hades!

Why not include a simple On/Off switch!?!?!?

Edwin, I know that you can enable or “Forcelegacylayout” for Onedrive, can it be done with the other flyout features?

    Not sure.

If I trip over something, I'll shout it out!

Raising MenuShowDelay and MouseHoverTime values does nothing!
