    shuts down at specific time windows 10

    Hello, 4 years ago when the window update was really buggy, I set it to update and restart at a specific time 12:07pm. Over the years my schedule has changed and windows still automatically turns itself off without any warning at 12:07 although I paused updates, changed active hours etc. Nowadays, you can't even set it to restart at a specific time anymore. I don't know where the system gets the info from to shut down. It doesn't even restart. It just shuts down.

    Right-click your Start button, go to Computer Management > Task Scheduler. See if there's anything set up that performs a system shutdown. Remove it if possible.

    From Registry Editor, you could navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX\Settings
    and make your changes here.

    My settings (no shutdowns):
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX\Settings]
    "ActiveHoursEnd"=dword:00000011
    "ActiveHoursStart"=dword:00000008
    "AllowAutoWindowsUpdateDownloadOverMeteredNetwork"=dword:00000000
    "DeferFeatureUpdatesPeriodInDays"=dword:00000000
    "DeferQualityUpdatesPeriodInDays"=dword:00000000
    "ExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate"=dword:00000000
    "FlightCommitted"=dword:00000000
    "LastToastAction"=dword:00000000
    "UxOption"=dword:00000000
    "SmartActiveHoursEnd"=dword:00000001
    "SmartActiveHoursStart"=dword:00000012
    "SmartActiveHoursSuggestionState"=dword:00000001
    "InsiderProgramEnabled"=dword:00000000
    "SchedulePickerOption"=dword:00000000
