    measure length


    Is it possible to measure or calculate the dimension of an object displayed in a jpeg file on the monitor of my PC?
    I use windows 10 with a monitor with resolution 1920x 1080

    There's also a column in Explorer called 'Dimensions'. Right click at the top of the column headings and select 'Dimensions'.

    Most graphics packages, I use The Gimp because its free, have on screen toolbars that can show sizes measured in pixels, cm's, inches etc. There is normally an option to set the DPI to the same as your monitor as well, if I read your question correctly?
