Norton is highly intrusive, slows down your computer, and isn't all that effective anymore. It used to be very good, years ago, but in recent years it's been more malware itself than what it finds.
Still, the original point, all of those issues sound like problems relating to the upgrade itself, not Windows 10. Many apps don't survive the upgrade and need to be re-installed. It's unfortunate, but it happens. I would have first reinstalled the apps that didn't work, then if that didn't work performed a clean install.
