I ran sfc /scannow as well as adwcleaner and still the same

Error 80070002 is a generic code and not particularly useful for tracking down the cause of issues. However, if the issue is triggered by the use of the Windows Script Host then it's possibly a VBS script firing and failing from startup or login (depending at what point you see the error).
Try using the TechNet/Sysinternals' freeware/portable Autoruns to look for all VBS scripts set to run. Just remember to run it using Run as administrator.
Uncheck any suspicious VBS script to disable it temporarily.
