A few days ago, I updated my Windows 10 Home OS to the 1903 version.
When I logged into my computer later on, I could not find any of my files so after searching through forums on the internet, I found all my files in Windows(C:)>User>MYUSERNAME.
I decided to transfer all my files back manually to their usual places because I didn't understand that my files would be saved to a Temporary User storage.
Today I turned on my computer and all my files are gone and every time I try to search for them or try to find a way to recover them, this LOCATION IS NOT AVAILABLE thing comes up.
Please help me because I don't know what to do now. Are all my files gone or is there a way I can get them back?

@Jacee - If you are trying to make a point then just do so instead of posting nothing. Denis

This is exactly what happened... and I was too late. I did use Recurva to try to recover all my files but the majority of them were corrupted. All the stuff I've written for the past 4 years was part of the stuff I lost.
I guess some lessons about computer files have to be learnt the hard way😭😭😭

Thank you so much for all of this but apparently I saved all my files to a Temporary user on C:Windows>Users when I wasn't sure why all my files seemed to have vanished from the videos, pictures and document folders. They're all corrupted now.
