Computer Name change after Clean Install

Just 'Clean Installed' my system - mainly to resolve the integrity issues being reported when I ran sfc /scannow. Seems to have resolved the issue as those integrity issues are now no longer being reported.

Now running at Win 10 Pro 64-bit, V1903 b18362.449

My 'Computer name' / 'Full computer name' has changed in the System Properties.

I changed it back to its previous name with which I am familiar - so it aligns with my reference notes etc.

Questions:
- Are there any implications of changing it back to the original system generated name?
- On what is the default Computer name generated ie. is it totally random or based on system serial number or something?

Not sure, being a Windows 7 person; however, it is possible you changed the "surface name" -- the real name might still be what the system named it. If that is so, this might be a better way: Rename system-named back to what it was; create your account with your desired name -- make sure all that you want exists; perhaps activate the built-in administrator account; if all is well, delete the system created account with the name you did not want. I know Windows 7 works this way, not sure about W10.

I have checked and everything is available under my account (local Admin) as before - so all looks and works ok. I noted that when I sign into my MS Account it records my devices by the assigned Computer Name. When I changed this device name, it reflected that change in the list of devices. Thanks.
