    So are you saying I can't use that signature?
    Of course you and anyone else can! I was just giving you the sources that you can add to your good signature :) Knowing the book title would bring a smile to your face.

    Try editing the paths & running the following PowerShell. If the the echoed copy commands look right, remove the -whatif parameter from the Copy-Item statement.

    Code:
    $Subject = 'c:\subject'
    $test    = 'c:\test\*'

    gci $subject -Directory -Recurse | select -expand Fullname |
       %{Copy-Item $Test $_ -Recurse -whatif}

    PS Try3 Thanks for all the time you spent on that code. I did save it and will be sure to run all modes even if only to know how to do what it does.

    My REAL problem was (and still is) properly editing a website path to get a folder to accept a special style.css and index.php on every level of the files inside one specific folder in the website.

    Also to Keith. I finally just did it the hard way and made several test runs for the website. It does work properly IF i insert a copy of the special index.php and style.css at every sublevel in the documents folder. Now that i know that works, i have to learn how to set those files to be used from within the site instead of physically being placed at every level.
