How can i increase the size of the taskbar so i can see it?

1 Play around with moving the Taskbar because its icons are a bit larger when it is on the left or right of the screen.

2 In addition to this, or as an alternative, change the display scaling -
Settings, System, Display, Scale & layout - try changing the scaling to 150% or even greater and it will enlarge everything [as if your display resolution was lower].

If you right click on the taskbar then look for "Lock The Taskbar"

Make sure there is no check mark in front of it, This will indicate that the taskbar is unlocked.

You can resize the taskbar the same as you would in Windows file manager by moving your mouse to the top edge and when you see the double arrow press the left mouse button to drag it up.

Display scaling will also enlarge the file names shown in File explorer.

Another way to do this is to enlarge the size of all fonts used -
Settings, Ease of access, Display, make text bigger
It is easy to drag the slider around and back again so I suggest you test it out
- Get a File explorer window & the Settings window arranged onscreen so you can see them both at the same time
- Drag the slider all the way to the right & click on Apply so you can a see an exaggerated form of what it does and then drag it back to a level that you are comfortable with & click on Apply again.

With my folder in List View, and the slider moved over, the folder contents are readable now but they are also overlapping each other. At this point, can i set a different line spacing?

I think you'd have to play around with both display scaling & fontsize until you found some happy medium.

Of course, there might be some third-party utility that would hep you but that I am unaware of.
[I have already looked through the list of TenForums tutorials but cannot find anything there that would be of use to you.]
