Windows explorer crashes when resized or restored down

So whenever I resize windows explorer or try anything to make it not full screen, it moves to a tiny window in the corner of the screen where it freezes and starts flickering I have to then restart in task manager. I've run the Cbs scan and some corruptions were found but not all were able to be repaired. Explorer launches maximised and works fine unless I try to move/minimise. Help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, welcome to tenforums.

Could you please try creating a new user for test purposes, log in as that user and see if the same thing happens?

This is important, as knowing this dictates what repair actions may be relevant.

What is your Windows build? Sadly this is not a forum requirement to state, so we have to keep asking.
Settings, About

Do you have
- any relevant System Restore points you could use?
- any recent disk images you have created (the routine use of disk imaging is often and strongly here - e.g. Macrium reflect (free) to permit quick recovery from many bad situations without technical help)?

History:
- how long has this been happening?
- does the onset correlate with any updates or upgrades or other changes?
