Win 10 Recovery Mode Loop - Need Help

Hello peeps.

Im new here and relativly new to windows 10 and have come seeking some help in regards to my windows 10 PC

After installing KODI and downloading a repository for YODA from GitHub. My pc Crashed and went into recovery mode.

I tried all the usual options available and they didn't work.

I then on my laptop started to watch some youtube videos and reading other forums and threads about the same problem.

from the youtube videos i tried most of the available solutions but none worked.

I also tried one of the command console fixes.

One fix was the CD regback command console solution.
But i got 2 empty DIR . And no other folders to work with so this did not work.

After trying everything i could i decided it would be best to install a fresh windows 10 using a USB

Unfortunately my usb at the time was only a small 6gb so i couldn't do it that way, so i burned a cd. went into bios and changed the boot sequence to the dvd. All i got was a blank screen with a cursor in top corner flashing forever.

I have now got a 16gb USB flash-drive and i am going to install the windows media creation tool and try this route.

If this fails what are my options.

How do i format my harddrive in install windows 10 again.

Can i even buy a windows 10 CD.

Im at a loss and don't know what to do.

I keep watching videos on the laptop, but im a little worried that if i try everything i see on youtube i may end up in a worse condition than i am in now.

Im here on this forum seeking any Foolproof methods to get out of the recovery loop.

Any advice is welcomed and highly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. Do you know what version number you have? Use the media creation tool to get the USB boot from that and try a repair from that it often works

Thanks for your attempts to help guys, but the windows media tool worked, Luckily (phew) Flawless re-install thank god.

Now iv just got to sort out my laptop and get Kali linux / Grub off it and windows 10 back on LOL

OK m8, thats a 100% guaranteed solution right, Last thing i want is to be locked out of the laptop, I hear bad stories about GRUB and WINDOWS re-installations.

Not that im doubting your advice m8, But are you 100% sure that its a Gaurenteed solution..

Il attempt it after alot of investigation ect, just to be on the safe side. Iv locked myself out a pc and a laptop before because of Grub. But iv never used windows 10 until now, So maybe its all a little simpler.
