    dragging window query

When I drag a window upwards towards the top of the screen using the mouse on the title bar a grey border appears round my screen and the window goes to full screen. Is this a problem or normall?
    I am using windows10.

That should only happen when the window touches the top of the screen.

You said "towards" the top not "at" the top so you are not experiencing normal behaviour.

Perfectly normal. It is called Snap Assist and is turned on by default. More useful is to drag to the left or right edges, when it will go to a window that fills half the screen, with a choice of which other window you want to have in the other half.

I suspect it's an 'Aero' feature still in the system; you used to be able to turn it off, however, in Windows 10, when you enable 'Aero Peek', some windows will show a silhouette, some won't.
