Right click slow to fill Send to combo box

    Right click slow to fill Send to combo box


    Help requested.

    When right clicking on a file or folder the Send combo box initially only shows Bluetooth, 10 seconds or so later the remaining options are available.
    Rebuilding Indexing didn't speed the combo box options.
    Windows version 1903

    Hi, welcome to tenforums. The usual approach to diagnosing right click problems is to disable the options displayed in turn to try to identify which, if any, is causing the difficulty.

    In this case, a great free tool is this:
    Right click slow to fill Send to combo box-1.png
    by Bluelife.

    Just use the check boxes to disable items, retry, see if the problem has gone. Conversely, enable them.

    I would not expect indexing to be related to this- and I've not personally seen this problem reported before.

    SendTo Menu editor did the trick. Bluetooth was the culprit.
    Now works as it should.

    mm, question is why? It's fine on mine.. but if you don't need it, don't use it, then.. doesn't really matter..
