    RunMRU cannot be opened.

    Hi, everyone

What could have been the problem?

A while back I created a permission for user "EVERYONE" and denied all access.

Now is there a way to revert the changes?

I did the change in version 1809 now I cant seem to access RunMRU after updating to version 1903.

    OS: windows 10 pro

    RunMRU cannot be opened.-gg_nathis.png

Looks like you shot yourself in the foot and denied yourself access

Try taking ownership of the key, then you should be able to remove the deny EVERYONE permission. Taking ownership works the same way in the registry as it does for files, see Option Four in this tutorial.

Change Owner of File, Folder, Drive, or Registry Key in Windows 10

Thank you @Bree. I would check this post out and will get back as soon as I have done some progress.

Wow, this did help me a lot.
With a few steps I was able to gain access as Administrator and removed "EVERYONE".

Thank you so much. Have a good one. Stay Awesome!
