    setupapi.dll was not found


    Recently been getting error message popup when windows startup in regards to some programs and they all have the same common error message

    • setupapi.dll was not found.


    How to fix this problem?

    RAVCpl64.exe file is a software component of Realtek High Definition Audio Driver by Realtek. You may need to update Realtek High Definition Audio Driver if Sfc /scannow command won't repair the error message.

    Have you recently had any issues with unwanted guests (malware) on your machine.

    I would run the SFC /scannow FreeBooter mentioned as you mentioned this is happening on more than one program.

    SFC /scannow seems to have help fix this problem..

    I will keep monitoring to see if it reoccurs.

    I am getting random crashing + reboot
    though not sure how to check what the cause is crash

    Update the specs in the "My Computer" section:

    System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums
    In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'.
    After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.
    System Info - See Your System Specs - Windows 7 Help Forums

    Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, USB wireless network card, etc.)
