Windows 10 does not remain activated

    Good morning,

I have a problem with the activation of Windows 10, it does not remain activated. I have the digital license via mail, everything there perfect.

I am going to configuration - update and security - Activation. There I activate it and Windows 10 activates me ... after approximately 10min, I get that windows is not activated, I repeat the activation process and it activates it. I already ran:

DISM.exe / Online / Cleanup-image / Restorehealth and keep everything the same. I have the same problem with Office 2019.

I would like to know if there is a command to verify that my PC is connected to the Microsoft server. or enter to connect to it.

PD: In the past a few years ago the same thing happened to me and looking for a solution, I had to enter a command in powershell, so that the PC validates the serials.

    Thank you

Hi, please run Showkeyplus, free from this forum (just search) and post the result- without revealing any key.

How did you originally get any Windows license for your PC?

    Welcome to TenForums Ftoriano.

No, what you have in the email is a product key for Windows 10, this is used to activate Windows and get you a digital licence. A digital licence (if your key is valid) will then be stored on Microsoft's activation servers and that is what activates your Windows.

As @dalchina says, ShowKeyPlus can tell you more: ShowKeyPlus

In particular, see what its 'Check product key' says about the key you got in the email. If it says it's a 'Volume:MAK' key or that the EULA type is Volume then you have been the victim of a scam. The seller has illegally sold a volume key that's only legally available to business users. Microsoft routinely disables such keys for activation as soon as they detect they have been made public.

The other possibility is that the key is a valid Retail key, but you are now trying to activate a new machine with it. You can only use a retail key to activate one machine at a time. While a Retail key should allow you to move the activation from one machine to another, you must remove Windows from the original machine.

In the case where the old machine has died and you want to use a Retail key on another one, Microsoft allow a limited number of new activations before it is blocked. After that you will need to phone Microsoft for activation, they are usually helpful once they believe you are not trying to activate multiple machines with the one key.
