    computer info

This may be a strange question but how do I get do I get my computer
Info (device specifications) to display correctly rather then the below graphic?
"Hp Pavillion Desktop 590-p0053w" is the actual (and what I want) title.

What exactly do you want to achieve?

Hp Pavillion Desktop 590-p0053w instead of "DESKTOP-E57..."?

My Dell doesn't say anything there, and my System One just says 'Personal Computer'.
    It's the value of 'Model', a REG_SZ in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OEMInformation

Thomas... I don't even have that line on mine. Must be a registry entry HP has made that Dell did not. A secondary device category. With the "xxx" on it, looks like it may be a "class" of HP lappys as opposed to a specific model.

OEM install or clean install on your Dell? My Dell has nothing too, but then I did a clean install. The model is just one a number of things an OEM install may (or may not) decide to customise.
