    downloads folder

In file explorer, specifically the downloads folder....how does one change the layout of the contents inside the folder. I don't like to see the split level stuff....today, yesterday and earlier this week. I just like it the old way of a single alphabetized list.

I found it. In the current view area, select 'group by and choose none. IDK why it took me so long to find it.

That works but maybe not when opening File Explorer from the Downloads list of the browser but I do very little work in that view.

Had the same issue yesterday. As you say group by none worked.

Once you do that, go into Folder Options, View tab and Apply all or you'll end up doing it over and over again.
