    tablet lock down!


    Hello,

    I've purchased a tablet for our company.
    I only want it to serve pdf's from our networked drive (wifi connection to server)via adobe touch(pdf reader).
    I need the internet disabled and all other apps restricted.

    Is this possible to do within winodws settings or should i seek an app for this?

    The tablet is a fusion5 running win10 home.

    Hi, disabling internet is easiest and most thoroughly done using e.g. Sledgehammer (free) - see e..g MajorGeeks. There are other 3rd party utilities you can find mentioned on the forum. E.g.
    Windows Update Blocker v1.5


    If it had Win 10 Pro (company item), there would be group policy options. E.g.
    Prevent Users From Running Certain Programs - Technipages
    But noted it doesn't.

    This suggests ways using the registry
    How to Block (or Allow) Certain Applications for Users in Windows

    It may be possible to do this using a 3rd party firewall - that used to be possible.
