To pin chrome, file explorer to taskbar from registry

    Hi

I have a scenario where I need to pin chrome, file explorer in task bar in an image through registry hive itself.
    When I go through "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Taskband"
I find encrypted data of the pinned items in task bar. How can we get to know which items are pinned here?
Also can we add chrome, file explorer in this specified registry hive?If so please let me know if I can achieve in this hive itself or any other.

Also I dont want to achieve through gpo

Hi, if you wish to see the registry change resulting from pinning Chrome to the taskbar, download and install a program such as Regshot, free.

Run that with little activity on your PC (= few other registry changes)

    Create the first snapshot.. wait...
    Pin Chrome to the taskbar
    Create the 2nd snapshot.. wait...
    Click Compare.

You can choose to have an HTML comparison which should be fairly short (1-2 pages).
Try to spot the relevant change.

Depending on how the registry stores this info, this may or may not be useful.
