Unexpected reboot

For any BSOD:
a) run the V2 log collector to collect new log files

[I have done that (above)

b) open file explorer> this PC > C: > in the right upper corner search for: C:\Windows\memory.dmp
I dont have any memory dumps. I stated this before. Never had any. I explained that I have tried verifier before but no dump files.



How come the customized settings in this link were not used?

I messaged you above as i didn't understand the setting that you shared as both posts said to do different things.
However last 4 reboots have occurred with correct settings.

Its VERY difficult to do this all when my system keeps crashing.

(Appendum: I think maybe i didnt delete the previous settings so have re-done that now)

Just a test, not sure if you have already tried this.

Disable 'Windows Time' Service and if possible turn off the CMOS clock in the BIOS.

The random reboots from the Kernel suggest a time difference between Windows and BIOS and 10 from experience will do a reboot to try and catch up the time. Im not saying this is the reason but its something else to try

In the last 30 days the logs displayed no BSOD.

There were approximately 32 unexpected shutdowns or restarts.

The HP test report image was requested but was never posted into the thread.

Would you be willing to repeat the testing overnight and post images into the thread?
The request is not to see pass or fail.
The request is to see what was and was not tested.
The image is important.

I managed to disable windows time but have no idea how to turn off the CMOS clock. (any tips?)

Have considered trying this but sometimes they are several hours apart and am using PC a lot to try and post/read here etc.
I could try leaving it in safe mode overnight maybe? and when at work?

I did log back into diagnostics as you requested and take the final results pic but as I had previously said it didn't say anything much.
that's why I just typed out it's contents for you.

(Maybe you are not aware but the final result is not broken down into component tests.)


However i had taken a photo when the tests were almost complete (not sure why now but am glad i did as I have already run all these tests twice at the request of this forum). I didnt post it as you said you only wanted photos of errors

I havent got any experience with your board, but some have a switch on the board that enables disables CMOS clock. Another option is to take the battery out of the motherboard and set the BIOS config manually. Dont unplug or shut down as the BIOS settings will go back to default. Restarts and reboots will be fine for now just to try and figure out what this shitty problem really is

ok- so step by step... (trust me i need it as been sitting at this machine for hours!)
i turn off pc
I take the battery out
I turn back on...

Thats it yep. Start machine up, go into BIOS and set time. Aslong as its close enough to the real time, it should work as normal. With the Windows Time service disabled too this should stop any reboots from real times not matching. It wasnt until Windows 10 that i experienced the random reboot through times not being the same.
Its a long shot i know. But with Windows 10 anything is possible, and usually is.

A query-
shall i keep adding extra verifier tests each hour?
Is verifier actually producing any results for you via the VM files?
Just checking as last time I tried verifier i could find NO logs anywhere

So your board is socket 1150 same as mine i noticed. This would mean that officially, your board doesnt actually support Windows 10, i dont think it does anyways.
One thing i have realised is, not to rely on Windows 10 to install what would be the correct drivers for hardware on the motherboard.
