    Win 10 1903

Can someone tell me why the EOL for 1903 is sooner that 1809?

    1903 EOL 12-08-2020
    1809 EOL 05-11-2021

According to the column headers in the table, the dates given are for different Versions of Win10, not Home or Pro but Enterprise and Education and IoT Enterprise.

Would most likely have to do with the fact that 1809 is now more stable than 1903 with 1903 still held from certain devices and having features pulled on certain devices.

1903 started major changes in how Windows is being compartmentalized to where it is modules not one huge chunk of code.

Thanks. Just found it odd that 1903 will EOL before it's predecessor.

Again, check the column headers in that table you posted, they are different editions of Win10 and have different support channels.

    Hi,
Businesses Pay for extended support of older builds
Heck 1709 is still supported on business channel lol but again they Pay for that support via monthly/ yearly.... it is a subscription volume license deal.

The EOL is different because those two are volume licensing versions of Windows activated by an organization, company or school not meant for the home user and also use different methods of activation, mass activation which I believe expire every six months which therefore reduces piracy of organization key by requiring client computers to maintain in contact with organization in order to keep them fully up to date and to give the actual license key owners (business, organizations, schools) right to reassign licenses easily to new clients.
If you note the EOL listings for Home, Pro both expire in 2020 but with 1903 having a slightly later EOL due to the fact that it is the most recent release.

I think the difference may be down to the fact that 1809 is available as LTSB/LTSC while 1903 isn't. The 1809 LTSC is in support as 'Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019' until January 9, 2029.

Heck 1709 is still supported on business channel...

Heck, 1507 LTSB is supported until October 14, 2025.
