Booting with CMD instead of explorer.exe

Hi guys!

So yesterday I turned my laptop off for about 3 to 4 hours and when I turned it back on, after i put in my password, instead of booting with explorer as usual a cmd prompt popped up (as shown in the print that I was hopefully able to attach to this). When I type in "explorer.exe" on the prompt everything pops up normally, and everything works normally (as far as I know), but every time I turn it off and on again, it always boots with cmd instead of explorer...
Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

Lets see if Explorer.exe replace with cmd.exe open Command Prompt as a administrator and execute below command.

Reboot your computer to check if problem resolved.

Does windows then load?

Yeah like I said if I type explorer.exe in the cmd everything goes to normal, as far as I know

Boot Windows 10 into new user account to check problem resolves.

At the command prompt, type %systemroot%\system32\rstrui.exe and then press Enter. Follow the prompts to restore the computer to an earlier date.

Malwarebytes' scanner
If this program is already installed: Skip the installation and run only the scan!
Download and install: Please download Malwarebytes' scanner to your desktop.

• Double-click mb3-setup-consumer-3.x.x.xxxx and follow the prompts to install the program.
• Click Finish.
• On the Dashboard, click the 'Check for Updates' button.
• After the update completes, click the 'Scan Now' button.
• A Threat Scan will begin. Please allow it to progress through the scanning process.
• When the scan is complete, if there have been detections, click Quarantines Selected button to allow the program to clean what was detected.
• In most cases, a restart will be required.
• Wait for the prompt to restart the computer to appear, then click on Yes.

How to get logs: (Export log to save as txt)

• After the restart once you are back at your desktop, open Malwarebytes once more.
• Click on the Reports tab > Scan Report. (if you have done more than one scan in the past, select the most recent that shows the Date and time of the scan just performed. Press View Report button.
• Click 'Export'.
• Click 'Text file (*.txt)'
• In the Save File dialog box which appears, click on Desktop.
• In the File name: box type a name for your scan log.
• A message box named 'File Saved' should appear stating "Your file has been successfully exported".
• Click Ok
• Find the log on your Desktop and Attach that saved log to your next reply.

Do I do all of those steps after I created another user account?
Will I lose anything I have in the laptop?

These are just steps you can perform to check if issue resolves so yes please check if issue resolves within new user account if not follow other steps.

Also open Command Prompt as a administrator and execute Sfc /scannow command to repair corrupted Windows system files.

You will not lose any data.

So, in the new account everythings works normally, only whem I change back to my account the cmd shows itsself again... Nothing popped up in the scan

Did you executed SFC command?

The user account is corrupted you may want to move your files to new user account.
