    Permanent Group By/Sort By change?

I'd like to know how to permanently change Group By to automatically be set to "(none)" . Changing it from the context menu or ribbon menu doesnt permanently change the setting and every time I open a folder from an external application like for example Chrome "show in folder" or having to navigate to a file's location for a particular program, the folders always revert back to Group By setting.

When I change to none, I then click on View tab, Options, Change folder and search options.
In the Folder Options window, click on the View tab then Apply and Apply to all folders.

Works for me most of the time though every now and then I end up with Group by taking over a File Explorer window.

One of Microsoft's stupider design changes (one of many actually).

If you'd like to bug MS to change this, upvote the Feedback I just submitted: File Explorer Group by extreamly annoying

It has become extremely annoying to have to constantly change the File Explorer Group by setting to none, ever since it was changed to Type as the default for all folders. This makes it difficult to find things.

Please give us the option to make it none for all folders permanently.
