Emoji Picker ( Win+. or Win+; ) No Longer Works

After the latest big update from Windows, I noticed that my Emoji Picker Window (the window that you can pull up when pressing the Windows key + the period or semicolon key) no longer comes up.

I tried searching online to why this doesn't work, and how to fix it, etc, yet all I found is that this feature is limited to the US English language, in which I already have set up correctly, since I live in California.

I even tried enabling the "Show keyboard buttons" option in the Taskbar (refer to the picture below). When I press an emoji (using this method) it still doesn't show up. The only way I can use emojis is if I go to, for example: 😋 Get Emoji — All Emojis to ✂️ Copy and 📋 Paste 👌
and copy/paste the emojis from there.

I just tried out that Registry edit, restarted the computer, yet it still doesn't work.

You may find the fix quicker by searching google or another search engine than waiting for a reply. Everyone knows that California tends to think that they are their own country. Unless you are using a non-US/English version of Windows or change Regional settings, Emoji Picker should be working.

Hi thanks for replying, I forgot about this post and it has been working for me. I guess it was some temporary bug in Windows for me at the time of the post.

But I hope someone knows how to fix the issue you're having about this Goldengirl52. (I'd suggest you make a new thread about the problem you're having so people on here don't have to go through all that I typed above).
