All is working well, as far as I can tell.

The error message is preceded by Event ID 28 (error setting traits on provider...

    Thank you!

    Hi.
I've got the same event ID 12 (not preceeded by ID 28 anyway); I'm looking around for a solution since days with no avail... Let's wait and see...

    Hi!
About 5 days ago I set (if not already set) these four services as follows:

Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS)....... Demand start (delayed)
    Cryptographic services (CryptSvc)........................... Auto start
Windows Installer (msiserver).................................. Demand start (delayed)
Windows Update (wuauserv)................................... Demand start (trigger)

I don't know if it's related to, but I had no events ID 12 anymore. Maybe they'll come up again soon after I click "Post Quick Reply", who knows... Anyway, how are these four services configured in your O.S.'?

    Thanks and greetings.

I do not have these event 12 anymore. I did nothing, guess it's a Windows Update that took care of it.

Still have the event's 28 though. Anyone?
