Most people do not even know how to google, especially since they do not know, what is the problem. Whoever I ask, everyone says, that he has some problem, but has no idea, how to solve it, so he gave up. Not everyone can afford to take a computer to a repair shop, what is, what the rest of the majority does. That is also the reason, why optimizers are so popular, they are easy to google and they offer a quick solution.
I agree, but the question is, why does people self inflict problems and use poorly implemented hacks, in some cases the causes are poorly implemented useless features that the user, poorly and uselessly, try to work around.
I very much have the same approach, but I'm far from "none of my machine have had any problems"; sometimes GPO settings are not working, I also have several menus in settings like in Chinese or something like that (and several others problems), I don't think that has anything to do with disabling cortana using GPO.
I can understand, and I agree it is true, that windows is a very complicated (and in my opinion over engineered) OS, it is reasonable and normal having some bugs.
Your statement sounds a bit like "look at me i've never had any problems or bugs, it is your fault if something does not work" it's always the user fault, but if it is true that "none of your machine have had any problems" you must be very very lucky; I can assure you there are many people affected by windows bugs, even if they don't use poorly implemented tools, yes that may sound strange to you, but it is true.
Peace.
HW + OS + SW makes for practically infinite combinations. Ad to that user tweaks and you get so many complications, all the brains in the world can't guarantee that there would be no problems.
There's what, over a 100 CPUs currently in production with more than twice that of obsolete ones running. Literary hundreds of motherboards in production with many more obsolete ones and each one may have up to or more than 10 BIOS versions. RAM and GPUs probably just as many. Programs, applications and games are in millions, each one wanting a piece of same cake, most of them doing who knows what to OS and computer.
How to reconciliate all of that and guarantee 100% stability ? Maybe we are asking too much at this time. AI is giving some hope but it's still a chicken brain comparing to it's potential.
