Windows 10 Calendar App and Windows action center

I've been using the Windows Calendar App for a while now and I have found that I can't trust it and the Windows Action Center to display reminders properly.

The major issue I have is that if a reminder manages to appear in the action center/popup window if I don't see or respond to it in some time period (what that period is I have no clue) it will just disappear. And even if I do respond with selecting a time period from the dropdown menu to remind me later many times the reminder never reappears.

Is there a fix for these issues (and others like them) that I just can't find online or is the app and action center just terminally glitched?

All my PCs are running the latest version and updates to Windows 10 (1903).

The popups only last for less than a minute before they're sent to the Action Center. Then they disappear from it after some unknown time unless I respond to them immediately. I have found nothing online that indicates there is a control panel or Registry hack to adjust those times.

    Hello sewing1243,

If it helps any, you can use an option in the tutorial below to change how long to show a notification above the taskbar before automatically closing to the Action Center.

Thanks Brink. That will at least make it possible to have a chance to reply to the popup before it disappears from the desktop. I apparently have never guessed the correct verbiage to get a search engine to ever find that web page.

I just tested the snooze function with a test reminder created in the Windows 10 Calendar App. The reminder appeared and and I set snooze for 5 minutes. 5 Minutes later it appeared again. I then set the snooze for 15 minutes and it never came back.

Reminders continue to either never appear, won't reappear after being snoozed, or just clear themselves with no input from me after some unknown time period (definitely less than a 1/2 hour).

Apparently Microsoft's programmers think that I sit in front of my PC eagerly waiting for reminders to appear.

    Consider going independent of MS:
Best Free Calendar, Reminder and To-Do Program | Gizmo's Freeware

E.g. I abandoned MS email clients after the Outlook Express/ Win mail/ no mail client... and have no intention of using the Mail app...
