how to reassign a windows 10 f2 function key

Ginger Grammar Checker rudely and arrogantly seized my F2 key.
I need the function for editing spreadsheet cells.
I searched for options but the next links were the onley only ones that seemed promising.

I followed these but the Mouse and and Keyboard Center did not work.

    Any thoughts?

The most obvious thought would be to check if Ginger GC has any options itself for configuring its hot keys.

Hot keys can be readily reassigned using Autohotkey (free). There are also some utilities which can do this.

    Thanks as always.

I downloaded Autokey. Again it is more learning curve than I can fit in right now. I solved the F2 problem by uninstalling Ginger. I ran it against Free, Powerful English Grammar Checker | SCRIBENS it found corrections that Ginger missed. It works very well and it is free. I have learned of many free grammar aps worth exploring but Scribens will do the jobs I need to do right now.
Also Ginger goes for $8/ mo. I do not have need for such other than occasionally so I do not want to put up with their nagging.

    Thanks again for your reply.

Understood. FYI from Autohotkey's extensive help file:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) | AutoHotkey

    - 1 simple line. The help file shows how special keys are handled.

That also refers to this utility, which may still work although unfortunately listed to Win 7
