    Hi, if you wish to assign an icon to a particular unknown file type, you could use this free program:
    Windows Explorer doesn't displaty .apk files with their icon.-snap-2019-09-08-17.11.50.png

    - and FYI:
    You can also open an APK file in Windows, macOS, or any other desktop operating system, with a file extractor tool. Since APK files are simply archives of multiple folders and files, you can unzip them with a program like 7-Zip to see the different components.

I have w10 1809 up to date, stock install, and my explorer window does not refresh when I download a file or unzip something. How do I correct this?
I've ripped many of my CDs to OGG (Vorbis) files, and the proper metadata are included with them. But in Windows explorer, when I look at detailed list of files, the album/artist/year etc info don't show, fields are all empty. When right-clicking...
Ok, let me make it clear first that the files i'm telling/showing you have Album Arts images within them i have checked with several "iD3 Tag editor" programs and they show the album arts within them and i even have put some of my own within them...
