Can't find recent download that saved under user/App

I downloaded CentOs7 VM software, but cannot find it anywhere on my computer. It defaulted to a folder that is deeply buried within another folder, that I cannot seem to find even with keywords. It's not in my downloads. I recall it saying something about App Data, but when I type in that it doesn't take me anywhere useful. I would like to find it but I know I can re-download it. Only thing is, this software is pretty large and I don't want it using up more memory than it already is.

    Thanks

'Download this tiny tool which is much faster and thorough than Windows Search - voidtools
You'll have to give it 5 mins to build a database from your computer. Then it can search every area of the computer almost instantly incl AppData, if that's where it's hidden. You can sort by location, date, etc to narrow down too.

You Downloaded it as a ISO I believe,

Just search for (without quotes) "*.iso" ( Star period iso)

if ,as I now note , "*.7z" is also available search for that instead if that is what you downloaded

Thank y’all! I found it. It was under Appdata, Local, Packages, MicrosoftEdge, tempstate, downloads. Found it by searching centos7 under this pc.

Glad to hear you found it, but as you downloaded it in Edge there was an easier way (one to remember for the future). In Edge press Ctrl+H to bring up the History, select Downloads then right-click on the file and select 'Show in folder'. Almost all browsers have a similar download history that will let you find the containing folder for previous downloads.
