Windows 10 1903 on a laptop. I don't recall doing anything intentionally but suddenly all the icons on my desktop have changed position and are much smaller in size. I checked Display settings and they are unchanged: (see screenshot) How can I restore the display?
Your System Specs from your profile do not tell us what kind of machine you are on. So I can call a Psychic or guess that the display driver was changed...
This tends to happen when Windows updates, a generic Microsoft driver replaces the OEM driver. You would not have had to do it yourself. If you fill out your system specs in your profile with the model number of the laptop, we would be able to search and see if other users of the same hardware have changes.
Thank you for your help. Here's the info I think you asked for. You are correct. Windows 10 updated to ver 903 a few days ago and several problems developped. (I have image backups I might restore......) I solved it !!!! On desktop, View, medium icons. It had changed to "Small icons". Don't know what did it. Maybe some keyboard shortcut I accidentally stumbled on. Anyway, I'm good now.
